My Last Moments Here On Earth
If I were to spend one last day here on earthBefore I'd be deprived of my life and breath
I'd spend my last moments with the homeless
Painting their long gloomy faces with happiness
I'd walk into the empty streets to a crying child
Give him my hands to hold and heart to hide
My last moments here on this spherical earth
Will be shared with those who live in dearth
I'll share with them from the little in my purse
For I can't bear to see their everyday get worse
And those who hide their faces and live in shame
I'll, in exchange for their pains give them fame
If I were to spend one last day here on earth
Before I'd meet with the inevitable – death
I'd spend my very last moments here in Africa
Although I'm away, I would come back to Nigeria
Millions of people die there through diseases
Before I'd die, I'd pray to God that it ceases
