a journey now

and the Ritz
a walk through St James park
on a cool day
close to afternoon tea

you and me
and time holding memories

a slow dance
in gardens no one knows

this is a journey
chosen and undone
as words fold and unfold

when roses bloom
and die

Rob Graber
There's such magic in these softly sighing rhythms and unexpected images. Lines 7-8 seem to me especially fine...
