Waiting
Moving in circles
Like the hands of a clock
That cling to each second
Clinched in a lock
Lingering like fog
On a rain soaked day
Swollen with time drops
Dripping away
Searching for memories
Elusive dreams
Gauze covered mummies
Hide silent screams
Passing in mirrors
Through doors unaware
Halls of forever
Lead to nowhere
All in this time warp
That's quietly still
Slowly it moves
Ticking at will
