time sometimes moves so slowly

Waiting

Moving in circles
Like the hands of a clock
That cling to each second
Clinched in a lock
Lingering like fog
On a rain soaked day
Swollen with time drops
Dripping away
Searching for memories
Elusive dreams
Gauze covered mummies
Hide silent screams
Passing in mirrors
Through doors unaware
Halls of forever
Lead to nowhere
All in this time warp
That's quietly still
Slowly it moves
Ticking at will

In limbo of emotions. anxious. Do I cry sadly becaue I'm leaveing this paradise, full of energy and children bounding around me showing me theiru undconditional love, or do I cry with joyful anticipation because I'm going home to all that is familiar and those who those there who love me unconditionally, particularly the bounding ones who will meet me at home to hug me till my nedk hurts. Here is life without full responsibility. There is life with many responsibilities.
Kathy I relate to this so perfectly. It really touched my heart. It is an awesoe example of the life of a good grandmother who iw well involved in her grandchildrens life.
