this is a poem that i wrote several years ago, yet another silly one. reminds me of calvin and hobbes for some reason

A childs mind

******
Over the mountains and over the trees
Under the oceans with greatest of ease
Wandering into old temples defiled
Flies the imagination of the child
Not just exploring, there's oh so much more
Wrestling Rocky right down to the floor
Fighting with bandits and dueling knights
Running from aliens, screaming with fright
When you grow up then your mund turns to stone
Immobile, solid, and dry as a bone
So if you remember to keep your mind fresh
You'll be so much better off than the rest

I like the layout Joe & your Bird of Imagination is flying into my mind too. :) I love the 4 first lines.

Keep your mind fresh. :D
