Night's Unwinding

when the night is black

silken threads like moonbeams winding

paths of silver through your heads

like a river flowing past it's banks

minding only the shadowy song of trees

missing notes like ghosts singing verse of leaves

the moon is faceless or maybe just look

looking away into another galaxy

some other sea with it's own secret

eyes she waves her hair so high

over my sighs

some other skies

cloudless rivers of blue come flowing past

in a s low mot ion waltz when breathing is fast

when the night is black

the light will come back

silken threads like moonbeams winding...
