I'm on call tonight - I wont be able to answer comments... Sorry.
Will do it when I get home...
I said before, I'm a slave to my mind. Lets add poetry to that list, okay?

Nick, Right Back @ you

I have delved into the abyss
Of faithlessness beyond measure
I have been led beyond the heavens
In my constricted hours of leisure.

I have long blurred the distinctions
Where I come from, where I go...
Who I am, what I will be,
I've never had to ask, nor do I know.

I've learnt the rules of life
Perhaps much sooner than ordained
In the greatest classroom of all -
At the knees of heartbreak, death and pain.

I watch humanity separated
By a sieve of personal dignity
I am a slave to my muse and mind -
My faith is not my fraternity.

I speak of color, smell and emotion,
I write of music, pain and grace,
I sing of loss, hope and creation
I live for a new smile on an old face.

All I have learnt so far is to love
And let the love be blind in its way
I believe it'll eventually come back to me
Whenever I need it, some faraway day.

What a fine verse! As for the title: It is appropriate for the short term, but the poem deserves a title that also will make sense for the future...
