Vernal Equinox (Triolet)

Long shadows oer land is cast
as autumn sheds her floozy breath.
Spring and summer now gone past
long shadows oer land is cast
As time speeds ere so fast,
A short span met by death
Long shadows oer land is cast
As autumn sheds her floozy breath

My heart is torn as tears cascade
A vernal equinoxes strangest tug
Night is yet another faded shade
My heart is torn as tears cascade
With burdens heave, so overlaid
Narrow shoulders stoop in shrug
My heart torn as tears cascade
A vernal equinoxes strangest tug.

I heard orchestra music in the back of my mind. This inspires me to write music! This is a very, very good piece. Very Good Work.

Zoya Zaidi
Dear Emma,
I like the way you have retained the lyricism of the poem, and yet, maitained the form of Triolet!
(((Hugs)))
Love, Zoya
