Emporium
It is every drop, every vestige of you
that keeps me smiling,
long after closing time.
I walked into the emporium
of your smiles,
'open all hours'
and bought a candy bar
and placed it on the tab.
When we wake
we will share
toothpaste smiles
and I'll laugh
at your crocodile frown.
