this is originally a song I made when Bush started the war in Iraq.
I've edit it down so it looks more like a poem.
I dedicate it to Lennon.
what would Lennon do?(wwld)

S.o.s

can you hear the silence
that's laid upon the streets
villages in ruins
bodies wrapped in sheets

can you see the reason
or understand the rhyme
why some leaders have the power
to get away with crime

many men have suffered
and many more to come
no country can feel safe
until every war is won

some blame it on religion
other claim it as their right
but everyone agrees
there is no need to fight

Enjoyed and liked the "Poem" for its rhyme and contents.

I Doubt if John Lennon could have helped although he certainly would have wanted to try.

Excellent, flows so well and good content, as to what he would do, well he was a great one for protesting against the injustices in the world, so i would think he would sing it from the rooftops well done :-))
