For there'll be...
Listen to the falling rainGently splashing on the velvet green
And listen to the whisper
Of the gentle winds that which means something.
Won't you pick up that old guitar
And see if the strings are in tune
And strum a few chords to remember
the song that we sang on June.
Will you clear the dust from the mirror?
And open your windows once more.
And see if the song and the mem'ry
Is as fresh as it was before.
Will you please go on singing
Long after I am gone.
Will you please don't pick the flowers
That grows beside the stream.
Perhaps they'll grow and blossom
Because of our dream.
And will you please go on searching
For there'll be another one.
