Come what may
We are all afraid to lose this day.So afraid we'll lose what may.
I know you drown in fear and loss.
Your body rest on blood-shed cross.
You're trapped in this town.
Afraid you'll never come down
to a truth of any kind
that will awaken your mind.
So leave this old,
this blindfold, stonecold.
Leave this ground,
this drowned playground.
Fight this pain with me.
It'll get easier, you'll see.
You'll wake up one day.
Come what may.
We are all afraid to let go of yesterday.
So afraid to lose our way.
I know it hurts, God knows I do.
It's time to rest in something new.
You're trapped in memory maze.
Afraid of the capturing haze.
Looking for reasons, sad but true.
They'll never stop haunting you.
So leave this old,
this blindfold, stonecold.
Leave this ground,
this drowned playground.
Fight this pain with me.
It'll get easier, you'll see.
You'll wake up one day.
Come what may.
