beauty surrounded us, infected us, became us
Soft Serenity Along the Tweed
purple flowers
mixed among golden hours
trailing autumn dreams
white-capped river's stream
willows wispy sway
in green banks play
tawny robin calls
misty raindrops fall
winds stirring my soul
cool like satin blow
watching you walk in peace
holding my hand with ease
soft serenity along the Tweed
as you and I come in need
of our togetherness
