Daisy and I took a long walk this morning and we enjoyed the beauty of nature that seemed to say hello to us in so many ways.

Soft October Song

crushed walnuts on the street
leaves spinning in the air
baby Daisy and kitten meet
autumn breeze stirs my hair

silver squirells hop and hide
in tall pin oaks old
while acorns fall to the side
and pop among the gold

mums and maples colors spray
beauty enraptures my sight
O thank you Lord for this day
and making the world so right

singing soft October song
harmony blesses the sky
while I and Daisy stroll along
contentment is truly mine

Oh what a wonderful walk! All of God's glory displayed for you and Daisy. Your word painting took me along and I enjoyed every second!!

Ummmm now you're making me yearn to be with that baby girl... I bet this autumn is all that you've ever asked for, Daisy-kissed walks included!

wonderfully written , though I dont like autumn so much , this poem made me think differently about fall . So I think You and Daisy can see the glass '' half full'' not '' half empty''.I hope you understand =)

Hugs both of you :)

Colorful writing indeed. Me ,who usually hates the fall, actually found this poem very enjoyable and maybe I will try to look around and see the beauty in the autumns breath....... Lovely writing here, Kathy.
