Yes, who knew- the farther away,
the closer I'd come to you

Traipsing away was healing, y'know,
I didn't know me. (yet)

Now I think back, it's so vivid.
We really did love bein' around...
each other, always, all the time.

I essence I think we were too romantic-
After all, who needs that when you can...
well... you know... have more "fun"

I don't like you that way, but!
Do you realize what's in front of us?
Staring us down?

You are my closest friend.

Traipsing back has been the best decision
I've made in forever.

Who knew, the farther you step away,
nearer still do you huddle towards.

What i find amazing is that you have your own style of rhyming (or not) that ive never seen elsewhere. In this one is it especially apperent
