For a somewhat alternative friend. may she find peace.

Heart of black with rainbow skin

...
Heart of black with rainbow skin
Draw circles on your pink red rim
Slice your face with shades of grey
Let me know what you will say

Choose the low road, not the high
Love your friends far more than I
Fall aside the fence of norm
Like the cavern and the thorn

What bleeds your eyes of all their worth?
What bleeds your mouth for what comes forth?
What bleeds your soul that you chose dark?
It's those that take your head apart

To all those rippers of esteem
To those who close their minds last seam
To those who dislike colored flags
And those who hate when some pants sag

I see you from the outside, friend
But I know not what lies within
I know you not but my heart cries
When joy of life within you dies.

I'm speechless. Your poetic talent grows with every single poem. I love how you switch gears halfway through, it so breathes life into it.
Not sure what it's about but, hey! That's not always the point of a poem, eh?
