Love is so sacred. So many confuse it with sex.

To be loved and dislike it

To be loved and dislike it
Can she talk to you?

Will you take her seriously?

She thought you were friends
You thought you were lovers

To be loved and dislike it
Can she trust you?

She thought you would help eachother
You thought you were getting married

To be loved and dislike it
Can she stay with you?

She broke up with all her
Male loving friends

To be loved and dislike it
Will you help her?

Very true. I think religion had quiet a part in cementing that particular confusion. Although i guess nature plays its apart to. I mean, there has to be some emotion which guides us and attaches us together for the sake of the prosperity of the newborn. Plus there is our deep rooted need for companionship. Another emotion which quiet often gets confused for love. I do wonder if we have just miss labelled a set of emotions. Anyway i ramble on. A very good thought provoking poem and well crafted.

PS: I would have said that i loved the poem but then i might have got confused and wanted to have sex with it. So i thought better of it. lol
