"To sleep: perchance to dream..." William Shakespeare
sleep is not coming my way this morning at 3:30 am, therefore I write.
I Am The Dream Dancer
And in the moon shadow, I shall dance with the stars
In the nakedness of my soul reveling in the heartbeat
Rhythms as in measured beats I flicker in the night sky.
Do you see me?
Who am I?
I am the dream dancer.
Catch me upon the blink of your eye
And I shall linger but a moment
But last a lifetime in your memories
Those memories of the elusive kind
That haunt and hearken you to a time
Of misty thoughts before sleep.
I am the white veil of slumber.
I am the comet's tail brilliant and elusive
As I stream in dreams like Milky Way cream
Across yielding minds waiting for deliverance.
Let me move in your realm of wonder.
Let me kiss the uncertainties away.
Let me leave the peace of possibilities.
Come now.
Dance with me in the moon shadow
In the nakedness of your soul
Hear the beat of your heart rhythms.
Let tranquil thoughts through you flow.
Sleep. Dear One, Sleep.
