A Breakdown Break down
My car breaks down
While I am just outside of town.
Its OK; It's Wednesday
And it's a good way for
Me to pass the time away.
So I sit here and stay
Waiting for the tow truck
And now there's the word
F...k
That rhymes here
But I'll just say "O dear"
And know it just my luck.
But I really want to say...
Well you know what I mean.
But bein' raised in the olden days
I only say it under my breath
And wish for the death
Of the seller of this disaster
And his dog, not to mention his sister.
I've no one to blame
But it's all the same
As what happened not 6 months
Before. That's when I called
The previous car a wh....
Well not really; that would be silly
To call a car such a thing.
But some things just bring me to the brink
And I want to sink my teeth into
A vein...not mentioning any names.
But here I am again, takin' it on the chin
For tryin to be frugal. I should have bought
a bugle. It would have been a much smarter buy.
At least I could take lessons and maybe play some
sessions with a jazz band. On the other hand
I did buy a new car that was made in this century
And eventually I'll pay it off. Well you may scoff
At my choices. Oh, I have heard the voices
Of buyer's remorse, of course. But today
Is Monday and it's the one day I will plug my
Ears and bury my fears while I drive my 2007
Vehicle to the grocery store and what's more
I'll lose some weight because with the payments
I must make I can't afford steak! But I can
Drive past the grill and get my fill of the smell
So what the hell, I'm drivin' under warranty
And that suits me just fine.
