if death is still ahead

confusion lies

it tells me stories
of the living and the dead

dirt and sand rest upon my body

water pouring down
streams it seems

but it won't find me

confusion lies

with a bitter kind
and a grain of sand is withered

it's a delicate move, momentum

bodies breaking down
decomposing

decomposed

confusion lies

it tells me stories
of the living and the dead

about the feeling not to be

I have a strong heart
and a will to carry through

if death is still ahead
