My Love

Time has stretched our meeting
Earth has stretched our distance
But my dear,
The same sun of hope
Rise and shines in our window everyday
The same moon of romance
Fulfills our loneliness

I want to tell you so many things

The place we met is still the same
But the food has become tasteless

Its winter,
My hands are cold
I wish you were here to hold them in yours

One of our friend is getting married
And I am going there alone
I wish you were here by my side

How are you my love?

Don't skip your meal
Wear warm cloths
Don't stay late night working
Be healthy

I am standing beside our window
Waiting for you
Missing you

My love,

I want you to know
No matter the space between us
You are still the one
That keeps my days alive
And make love with my dreams

Kathy Lockhart
this is a sweet love letter for the one you hold so dear and miss so much, a poignant poem of longing.
