a peom of togetherness

Shoulder to Shoulder

Shoulder to shoulder we here do stand
Standing so tall we are so grand
Stubborn and bold
Tired and cold
Together we hold the stories of old
In war and peace
In winter and spring
Together we thank them when we sing
Who we might be is easy to see
Those simple trees wild and free.
