Forgive me Gaia
Forgive me Gaia
that mankind don't have the currage to embrace
forgive me Gaia
that mankind don't have the currage to be.
The egde of the icefield is burning
deeper and deeper into the land
where snow and ice was to be seen
the polar bear is now feeling insecure
confused that there are no ice
with seals to eat - under.
Forgive me Gaia
that mankind do need he's cell phone
forgive me Gaia
for the long and hot bath.
The fisherman and he's wife
on the island way from here
still trying to feed their chrildren
soon they are living among the fish.
Forgive me Gaia
that mankind do want to have these wars
forgive me Gaia
for the (tin) trash, thrown away.
I was lost till you were found
Gaia - your hospitality
leaves a tear in my eye,
forgive me Gaia
