Cycled in Flight -- a Poem of Discovery

Follow Me

follow me your voice your eyes
follow me your lonely cries
follow me your heart in flight
follow me your soul at night

finding you my yearning dreams
finding you my subtle screams
finding you my wasted pleas
finding you my kneeling needs

finding me your whispered words
finding me your humming chords
finding me your arms your lips
finding me your fingertips

"tis me Myra!!!! Fancy finding you here! Ian invited me to join, I have left AP.
Your poetry is heaven my friend. This one is absolutely wonderful. It's like you are wanting this person to never lose sight of you and to always stay within earshot. Stay close my love...to always feel and hear your heart beats as one. Lovely!!!!
Glad to see and read you again!!! ~Laura

the simple repetition of this gives it the feel of a child's prayer (in my opinion) and i think it is fitting for a poem of discovery, the childlike versing works well. a much enjoyed read,

p.s. thanks so much for your encouraging comments on my poetry, they are much appreciated.

good poem - the repetition works well here. gentle, especially towards the end, where lips are found and fingertips work their magic. :)
