In the flash
I lead you down the stairsto the burning prison.
I lock the door and you're trapped
can't run or hide or breath.
I watch you scream of pain and fade to aches
to put you in my shoes.
I watch you lose your dignity and fade away
just to see you as you decide to leave me.
In the flash
