Frozen Heart

 Had I known the warmth

that your heart bore.

I would have stayed

miles away, long before.

Had I known that you weren't

feeling the same

to carry on with me

was such a pain.

Had I realized that

I was exchanging the whole

with bit by bit

I would have spared some

when you were asking for more and more.

Had I known your faithfulness

I wouldn't be an ocean

expecting positive outcomes

despite numerable odds.

Had I known your decisive potential

that fluctuated like a barometric liquid

I would have saved myself

from being an scapegoat.

Had I known the treachery

breeding in your heart

I would have saved myself

from tearing apart.

Had I known your system of batter

battering frozen with warm hearts

I would challenge to saved many hearts

from having the same would as that of mine.
