This poem is dedicated to my dad, who will always love me even if he forgets some of our precious memories.
Remember the time that I smiled?
Remember all the fun times we had
when I was just a small child?
I remember them very clearly,
as you can probably see.
I remember all the times that
you were always there for me.
I remember the time I cried,
all my tears on your chest.
You told me not to worry,
and that I was the very best
You told me I looked like an angel,
sent from the heavens above.
You told me how much I meant to you,
you told me that I was loved.
I'm your little princess;
I'm your one and only baby.
And all I ask is one simple thing,
Daddy don't ever forget me.
