the Pegasus insight
the silence falls
as a lead-heavy veil over
Pegasus
he takes both his M4 and AK-47
and blows his brains out
the echo from Pegasus' self-shooting
still travels along our
warm and trembling
dead human bodies
and our ears ring
the skies lose their meaning
and the world drowns
in a sea of anguish
