i wrote this a while ago- a long while ago
She looks out the door
To see rain fall down
It's comin' now
As the midnight riot strikes
She thinks about the past
And looks through the fogged glass
To see no time has passed
She can't lock the door to this room
Filled with things that she recalls
Answer her distress call
And read the writing on her walls
The rain falls down
She only took a bow
To find there's no one to applaud
That's just the cause
Of what happened that night
There was no light
To see the sight
Of her face her fears
She only felt the tears
Roll down her cheek
Her soul felt so weak
She couldn't even speak
Now she
Can't lock the door to this room
Filled with things that she recalls
Answer her distress cell
And read the writing on her walls
She can't lock the door to this room
Filled with tragedies
So many memories
So read the writing on her walls
She looks back
To past memories
It's all a mystery
She can't seem to recall
The controversy
Now she locks the door
There's no meaning anymore
So read the writing on her walls
The rain comes down
She only took that bow
Now she locks the door
There's no meaning anymore
So read the writing on her walls

Writing on Her Walls
As the sky cloudsShe looks out the door
To see rain fall down
It's comin' now
As the midnight riot strikes
She thinks about the past
And looks through the fogged glass
To see no time has passed
She can't lock the door to this room
