Five Star Love
They spilt ice cold champagneupon pristine sheets
in the indulgence of long
languid hot days.
Everything in excess
and more besides.
When he whispered
she followed
enticing him to lead.
The sounds of traffic
far below and footsteps
on parched pavements,
were just an echo
and fruits have never
tasted quite so sweet.
Days blurred and became
a memory of senses,
secret laughs and indulgence.
Happiness swung from chandeliers
that hung with soft lingerie,
the adornment of bodies
soon to be discarded.
He pours and she drinks
from crystal, sharing sips
with velvet inviting lips.
Summer forgotten
in the entwining of torsos
as luxuriously spent
with the gifts of
Five star love.
