Heavens Voices

Heavens Voices...

Seconds ago, he spoke to me
And said his heart had broken.
Wanted to run and find a sun
That would take away his pain.

He needed a miracle to smile.
Wanted someone to love and hold
When he ran that darkest mile
Needing warmth when life is cold,

So we found our hearts alive
On that sultry autumn day
As each of us took a dive
Into the oceans gentle wave.

Swimming along beside you
Smiling, and laughing, and crying
Just as long as this is what we do
And life keeps our heart trying

To float upon these waves of love
As we softly wake to voices
That arise from spirits from above
And uplift the heavens noises

Of angels who skim the crest
Of life's crashing waves and foam,
Singing songs of those who are blessed
With friendship, love, and a happy home.
