because sometimes moving on just isn't that easy.

i, me, you, we.

heartbroken i lie waiting
lying here in the freezing rain

i miss you
is that such a sin?

heartbroken i sit here wondering
where it all went wrong

i hate you
can you blame me?

heartbroken i long for freedom
from the grasp of the memories

i can't let go
is that so wrong?

heartbroken i stand corrected
for now i know you never loved me

i still hope
please don't judge me

heartbroken i still believe in you and me
forevermore

i can't move on
please don't lecture me

heartbroken.
i.
me.
you.
we.

I'd hate for him to confirm this: "...you never loved me".

I'm still hoping, clearly knowing I'll never know, if we meant anything at all to him. Because "heartbroken i still believe in [him] and me forevermore".

Teenage love sucks.

But friends like you are great to have.

Thank for the poem, DJ. I love it.

Cheers to both our broken hearts.
