Friendship
Life is a canvass with so many sidesThat change and bend and twist our minds
As days grow into weeks and months
And angels search the heavens for new finds.
Love is an clever being, with a mind and soul
That caresses life and its easy dreams,
Even when spring turns to winter,
And uplifts hope on summers wings.
Friends see the sides of us, good or sad,
As oceans and waves laps onto sands
Of beaches in our minds and hearts,
Even when trembles rage in our hands.
Dreams of wishes and walls of glass
And the sweet scent of whitest tuberose
Take us within the minds silent chamber
Where love can snuggle, and friendship grows...
