This is a tribute to my brother. He's more sane than I am. I guess that says a lot about my family. :)
He regales me with conspiracies.
I can hear the excitement in his words.
We've moved beyond Marilyn and JFK.
(rich industrialists make sacrifices to the occult,
global warming is just a cover for one world
government, the world can only sustain
300,000 people the rest of us will be killed
by an Australian plague, the formula's on the internet,
but be careful, the CIA and your ISP is reading
your email and might cut off your internet access...)
For a moment I believe, then I go back to my dishes.
He listens to late night radio and reads me stories from offbeat news websites.
I know the world is plotting against me, it's never bothered me much.
I love my brother.
But I'm glad he's gone home.
I drift back into my happy ignorance.
