A Typical Day

Lassoed a hundred calves
Broke up a drug cartel
Picked up a Pulitzer Prize in fiction

All before breakfast

Directed a top-grossing movie
Took wildlife photos in the Amazon

Just made me hungry for lunch

I discovered life in outer space
Took a cruise around the world
Found the cure for cancer

During the afternoon

Climbed Mt. Everest
Acted on Broadway
Foiled an assassination attempt

After dinner

Then I went to bed

I had the oddest dream
About an ordinary woman
With an ordinary life
Pure fantasy....

A woman's work is never done! All these things that we have to achieve before we've even time to brew the early morning coffee - reminds me of an accident I had with a unicyclist clown - but thats another poem and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this poem!
