once gone in the light of nothing
a force in between
me smiling in a way not known

daggers raining under my umbrella
so I stagger through streets red

a heartfelt feeling bouncing
touching dark

but hey watch me walk
a road you never knew

The ending is great! It surprises me though, since if it is raining daggers, the street may be running with her own blood!? The breezy-sounding conclusion doesn't quite seem to fit.

A most enjoyable write!
