As we choose to be free to the making, we must choose to respect what makes!
Restriction
I can't take my eyes off of the facts of common sense,
That lies before me,
If you see wrong, you do not ask "why",
You act or react, this is human nature,
For example, if someone puts a gun to another's head,
You don't tell the future victim, "Hey, you got a gun to your head",
You act or react, for, hopefully, you are not blind,
Or choose not to be,
I see nowadays the action of "playing dumb" turn into a science,
Among us, as a society, and as a people,
"Do it now", and worry about the payback later,
It's a good idea, but there's only one problem,
What happens when nobody wants to pay,
And still wants to "play dumb"?,
We got so many excuses for not doing the right thing,
And God forbid, (yes, I did use the phrase),
If you do, you might be stoned to death, (oops, used that phrase, too),
It's Sunday,
Anyway, back to the subject,
Nobody can make a perfect world,
But we can make harmony, by music and through love of people,
We love to be free, but live to war,
Not because we love war,
But we understand that freedom is not free,
It's immoral and not right,
But in every holy book, even all names of God,
Punished evil,
Once again, not fun, but to defend harmony or freedom,
People see, but choose not to see,
And unfortunately, we attack those who we have no right to attack,
And yet, we want to be free,
Have you not read or even understand your own history?,
Peace and love will conquer hate, yes,
And it has been done through Moses, Ghandi, MLK and Malcolm,
But even they had to punish evil,
As Yoda said, for knowledge and defense, never for attack,
The sky is limit if you choose to do the right thing mentally, physically and spiritually,
But if you choose to restirct yourself to the self- gratifying acts of "peace without payment, reference or memory",
You limit will always be the sky,
Because even though you be seen everywhere,
You only got 15 minutes until you're turned off, forever,
The dancer moves without a trace,
