From a U2 verse.
It depends on who's around....
We always wind up portraying the vampire and the victim,
And forget that we are only vicitms when we allow ourselves in,
Pride grows from your abilities to do and say the things that soothe,
The things that save,
And things that confront, for the benefit of vision,
But with that, there are two sides of the coin that must be accepted,
For sometimes, it is those who give themselves,
Are the ones who will not receive the same,
And it is that, that the coldness of pride emerges,
We rise to fall only to rise again through love and knowledge,
We are independent people with dependable priorities,
And therein lies the problem,
When, where and why?,
We hold upon unrealitstic abilities,
To reach goals we must not do on our own,
Since when has any hand been and unwanting one?,
Everything, even a war can end,
But it must start within oneself,
Shared to others, like love,
And encouraged to be nurtured,
Through all living things,
Around it or in it,
It is not about "belong", but "share",
Because even in defeat,
Like it or not, we are united,
The dual role of vampire and victim is a tough one,
But we do it everyday,
Unknowningly or unwillingly we set the scene,
But when we close the ears, the eyes and heart,
To what is so obvious,
We do not only fail each other,
But we doom ourselves as well,
We will stumble out of that hole in the ground,
And we will be seen for our results,
But I that all depends on who is around,
The dancer moves without a trace,
