#15 A poem about deadlines.
"Isn't it about time...?"
"Don't you think you ought to consider...?"
"Wouldn't you be happier if...?"
But I defer, demur, deflect
Your good advice and bad
It's all the same to me
We're all gonna die someday
So I pretend with you
Pretend I care
About the direction my life is taking
Pretend to get serious
I play this game, I sit in your office
And wish for a cup of coffee.
