Inspired by the Surrealism section of the 'Tate Modern I visited today at the South Bank of Thames in London.
Poetry. Dreams and imagination
Dreams, poetry, images surrealistic
They never face you directly
Seem to slink in from the side-
Sideways sliding into subconcious-
Slowly surfacing to the conciousness;
To description: to words new and old;
To pictures distorted; extended; stunted;
Scattered in disjointed forms...
Put them togather into one whole
Or let them extend further-
Each into their own individual form-
Sometimes taking a coherent meaning-
Sometimes non at all-
Becoming more and more abstract,
Indescribable, incoherent, inaccurate;
Just like the life itself
Well almost...
Envaloped in a diaphanous haze;
Scorching with invisible flames;
Flooding with unseen waters-
Deep down into the soul-
Soul indescernable,
Soul disturbed
Swishing like approaching waves
On the pebbled shore of existance-
Swish! Slash, Splash!
Drenching your entire being
Hurling you into the realm of unknown...
Surreal!
