let nature tell its tale.
Like the roses wilting on my window sill,
my love is gone
Like the blackbird that just won't sing,
my love is gone
Like the apple trees that never seem to bloom,
my love is gone
Like the dolphin that never smiles,
my love is gone
Like the old, forgotten tombstone left to waste,
my love is gone
Like the caterpillar turned ugly butterfly,
my love is gone
Like the child that never wants to cry,
my love is gone
Like the teen that never wants to smile,
my love is gone
Like the red heart that no longer beats its own drum,
my love is gone
Like the wind that hates to blow its tune,
my love is gone
Like the stars that now refuse to shine,
my love is gone
baby,
it's just gone.
