Reticent Butterfly

*}i{*

Oh, gentle garden keeper
I will no longer linger at your garden gate
Around the perimeter of your walls
I will not wander
With fragile wings, no longer wait
Nor will I frequent your beds of color
Your voice will I not listen for
In bated expectancy
And though I long to watch over you
A reticent butterfly I shall be

and a butterfly's life is so short, that to linger where unappreciated is so futile. Therefore butterfly, spread your beauty to the world for all who appreciate you will be blessed. And then sweet butterfly your life will be blessed as well.
