after fighting for so long...this heart has died.

The Warrior's Death

He walks into battle with his head to the sky
Love on his shoulder, and on the flag he flies high
what made him march on this road of potential death?
the need of this warrior to earn Love's respect.

He arrived at the battlefield, riddled with uncertainty
fear, anger and pain, lust and unreasonability
in the name of Love and for its respect he declares war
the battle begins, the world resounds when he exudes his battle roar.

Battered,bruised, limbs bloddied and raw
chest heaving, blood gushing, heart thumping like the hammer of thor
eyes wild, nostrils flaring, this warrior wants more
legs folding, arms closing, he falls to the floor.

The Jester in the corner snickers "thats what you get"
battling against the neverending army for a hint of respect
The battle of the heart has taken its toll, this fate he begets
the love he beholds led this warrior to his death.
