I Walk With You

A smile or smirk,
I do not know,
Begins its birth
upon his face.

Head slightly bowed
as if in thought,
About what,
I do not know.

Whispered words
quiet and soothing,
I could not hear
What you tried to say.

Where this river flows
I do not know,
I simply know
I walk with you.

A very interesting poem...and I particularly like
the lines, "Begins its birth
upon his face."
