Check Your Six
All i wanted was fun and gamesBut you made it something more
I requested nothing from our encounter
But you made everything extreme
Now I`m lost in your translation
Of the signs and hints I never gave
I let the good times roll on
But you made the river grow
A fly became a starship to you
And the sun was never closer
But you forgot to check your six
Where I lay cold in your shadow
You held my hand and smiled
Did it feel like you grasped eternity
I tried to be the breeze
But around you I where a hurricane
How is it possible not to see
That I only wanted, not to be
The storm growing on your ocean
When there never was a wind
A fly became a starship to you
And the sun was never closer
But you forgot to check your six
Where I lay cold in your shadow
