my best friend

Elana

this girl walks like something drags her back.

yes.

she wishes to be loved.

but wishes are wasted on someone who can't believe.

she wants another half, so she can see

that world.

she's not like the other girls.

there's a real heart in there.

she wants someone to care.

she is light and laughter
but sometimes I feel like summer's died when I look in her eyes.

you'd think they'd fall at her feet

but she has yet to meet

anyone.

no.

this girl walks like someone drags her down.
