Plastic
The flowers they'd smell prettyif plastic had a fragrence
Second hand words on a card
with your name signed at the bottom
Your words could have warmed my heart
but they were borrowed from a stranger
Sentimental memories aren't built on inpersonal things
You put a song on the stereo
and tried to sing it to me
mumbling every second word
not much of a serenade
Coz you never took the time - to learn those loving lines
maybe if you had, you could of won me over
