The Journey
I've begun a new journeyAnd know not where it leads.
I've stepped into a world so new to me.
A world of endless pleasure
Of constant joyous feeds.
This journey just might set my spirit free.
I did not need a ticket.
I did not board a train.
Imagination was my only ride.
It's given me a reason
To accept this new found gain
And thank the Lord he brought me to your side.
This journey has delivered
More than I could realize.
It's taken me to places unforeseen.
All I did to take it
Was look into your eyes.
A wonder that few have ever seen.
As I wander on this journey.
Who knows what lies ahead?
The pleasures that await still unknown.
Just know that I'll enjoy it
And nothing I will dread
I'm grateful for what this journey's shown.
