As Cindymac inspired Kathy Lockhart's Circle of Love, Kathy's poem inspired this effort. She is a poet for the ages and can stand beside Browning, Frost, Dickenson and other heralded poets in history.

Long for

Osculate

Valentine

Enamored

All are part of the language of love
They tell of its emotional power
Love moves shyness with a push and shove
And tears down the great ivory tower

Love inspires great poems and prose
And art in every form
If not ignored it grows and grows
And weathers every storm

Love gives with selfless abandon
To the loved one it bows down
Its faithfulness you can depend on
To the cherished heart it is bound

True love has no conditions
It loves just for love's sake
It surpasses all ambitions
And leaves pretrense in its wake

Pretty imagery in honor of love's enchantment on our hearts and our lives in general... I enjoyed the read. Also learned a new word : osculate = to kiss - thanks.

Kathy Lockhart
Love is the answer and the inspiration for creation. God IS love and Love begets love. A beautiful representation and poetry of the power of love.

Yes love is our gift from God that none can take from us and it works, like god, in the most mysterious of ways....It is wonderful how love inspires love and poetry inspires more poetry and the beat goes on....smiling at you, Tai
