As I walked in the soft night breezes, I heard the sounds of the coming of Autumn and was content.
After The Breezes of Summer
Sing to me frogs in the trees
While crickets play their violins
A beautiful lullaby as the world and I
Sleep beneath the harvest moon
Soft breezes blow down here below
Sending Summer's heat away
Let Autumn's chill come at will
Bringing color bursts upon the scene
I'll close my eyes and dream of skies
Bluer than sapphires pools in reflection
A deeper sleep will gently creep
Upon the land in close affection
Then Winter's white will come with night
To blanket all souls in slumber
Goodnight to all as comes the Fall
To bring a silence to remember
