When one feels what one fears to feel,,
Warmth and blood and life
So near to me and far from death
No though of loss of life
In one cold moment it all froze
The color in your cheeks drained
And soon instead of my white rose
I held a ghost unchained
I hold you in my now empty arms
I can feel your unseen eyes
My dry lips laugh at your unseen charm
And the fire inside you dies

Inside empty arms
Next to me and full of breathWarmth and blood and life
So near to me and far from death
No though of loss of life
In one cold moment it all froze
The color in your cheeks drained
And soon instead of my white rose
I held a ghost unchained
I hold you in my now empty arms
I can feel your unseen eyes
My dry lips laugh at your unseen charm
And the fire inside you dies
